Morgan P. Dobersek

Morgan is excited to begin her legal career with Garcia & DeCostanza, P.C. as an Associate. She is passionate about using her legal talents to help others. Morgan thoroughly enjoys working directly with clients to solve legal problems. Morgan graduated from Creighton University School of Law in 2022 with pro bono distinction. At graduation, Morgan was honored with the 2022 Outstanding Service to the Community Award. She was a member of Creighton Law Review, where she authored an article on the effects of COVID-19 on employment law. During her time at Creighton, Morgan served on various executive teams, including the Student Bar Association, Women’s Law Student Association, and Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society. In addition to working at two law firms during law school and gaining experience in the areas of personal injury, family law, employment law and estate planning, Morgan spent most of her free time on pro bono matters in the Omaha community. Specifically, Morgan worked with the Women’s Center for Advancement, Nebraska Legal Aid and Creighton University’s Legal Clinic.

Morgan is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is thrilled to make Chicago her home along with her fiancé and two cats. Morgan spends her free time listening to true crime podcasts, frequenting local coffee shops, and playing with her two cats, Saki and Wendy.
